El Chuncho
This place is downright terrible. I don't think I've ever given a 1 star review but this place went out of their way to earn it. The service was adequate, but the food was so bad, even considering the fact that most French people NO idea what Mexican food is. This place was just silly. The chimichanga was literally just grilled chicken pieces cut and put on a warm flour tortilla. The tostada were a weird tasting chicken and been combo on a burnt tortilla. The enchiladas were chicken and some kind of potatoe in a bowl with cheese melted on top. None of this would be a problem if the food were still good. I'm not reviewing this place based on how Mexican it was. The food was downright awful. I'm basically a human trash can and I stopped eating after two bites. It was, and I can't stress this enough, absolutely awful. I would give it two stars bit everyone thay went with me hated their food. It was just a lazy, gross, shameful excuse for a meal. I would love to stand outside this place and tell people tovsave their money. Look through my reviews and judge if I'm worthy to listen to. I have no vendetta against this place, but I hope for the sake of all future diners that you avoid this establishment for your gustatory benefit. There is plenty of other good food around this area and while we thought it'd be fun to see what a Mexican restaurant in Paris is like, save your money because its an absolutely joke.
Ordered the Tampiqueña which was far from authentic, and a very small portion of steak. When the check came we attempted to pay by card at which point the owner gave a disgusted look, told us that he doesn't take cards and pointed towards an ATM a block away. I wish I had checked with Yelp before going here because this restaurant has an average of 2.5 stars and probably deserves less than one. There are numerous good restaurants in the neighborhood, so you'll be better off going elsewhere.

I was dying to have Mexican food, so I went to this special place. First, when I arrived, the guy/waitress was not friendly at all. Then, I wanted to order my food and it took loooong time till he came to ask what I want. In short, it took about 20 more minutes to bring my food. The waiter was not friendly or welcoming at all. It was something as he was not welcoming anyone. The food was nothing special. The food has no flavor. It has been better just to stand up and leave the place.
